Toolboxd ("we", "us") provides online quoting software for contractors and tradespeople. For the personal data of our account holders we are the data controller. For the data our users enter about their own customers, we act as a data processor on their behalf.

Account data: name, email address, password (stored securely hashed), business name, address, phone, logo and branding.

Customer data you enter: names, contact details, addresses and quote contents for your customers.

Quote activity: when a quote link is opened, how many times, and acceptance or decline details including the name entered.

Billing: subscription payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.

Technical data: basic logs such as browser type and IP address used for security and reliability.

To provide and secure the service, send quotes and follow-ups you request, process subscriptions, provide support, and improve the product. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests and, where required, consent.

We share data only with service providers who help us run Toolboxd (hosting, database, email delivery and payment processing), under appropriate data protection terms. We do not sell personal data.

We keep account data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period after closure, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example, billing records).

Under UK GDPR and similar laws you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We use essential storage to keep you signed in and to protect against misuse. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted per business account, and customer quote links use long random tokens.
